Director's Message

What can I say? Our volunteers are doing it again! The season is halfway over and there have been so many wonderful retreats and events across the country and in Canada. With our monthly website updates, you’ll be able to view by region details of the retreats and events that have taken place. We’ve also started our “Club of the Month” program, where we will highlight one or more clubs that have joined the CFR family.

Recently, Mrs. Helen Maher has joined our Board of Directors. Helen and her husband John are active with Trout Unlimited and they are both avid fly fishermen. Helen’s expertise and experience in both the healthcare and fly fishing arenas will be a great asset to our organization.

Lastly, many of you have asked that we hold an event that will bring our volunteers, supporters, alumni and friends together. What better timing than to launch our 1st Annual Collaborative Conference ~ New Friends, New Skills, New Hope on our 10th anniversary! The event will take place April 28-29, 2006 at the Skytop Lodge in Pennsylvania. We hope you’ll join us!
