Announcing CFR’s “Fish’n Pink” program!

Casting for Recovery (CFR) announces a new catch with their “Fish’n Pink” program! CFR caught up with Lefty Kreh and Bob Popovics at a Fly Fishing University show this past winter and convinced them that to “Fish’n Pink” was the way to go to show support for Casting for Recovery, the support and educational program for breast cancer survivors, whose motto is “to Fish is to Hope”.

Casting for Recovery, which has scheduled 34 retreats in 23 states (and four in Canada) this year, encourages fly fishers across America to fish in pink to support our efforts to bring weekend fly-fishing retreats where we seek to enhance the lives of breast cancer survivors by promoting mental and physical healing.

The lovely fishing shirts which Lefty and Bob are wearing are manufactured by Ex Officio and are available for purchase through the Casting for Recovery website. Proceeds from the sale of these shirts help fund our weekend retreats, which are offered at no cost to the participants.
