Director's Message... and More

July already! Imagine, we are already 12 retreats into the season, with 22 more to go! This year, there have also been many Alumni reunions (read more about one in Maine on this page) and training sessions. As our season continues, we’d like to thank our supporters, The Orvis Company and the Hartford Insurance Company for providing support and outreach across the country. Others like Smart Wool, the Colorado Cancer League, California’s To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation; the Vermont/New Hampshire, Louisville, Maryland, Arkansas, Columbus, Ohio and Northern New Jersey Affiliates of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Trout Unlimited Chapters, Oregon Fly Fishers Foundation, Federation of Fly Fishers Councils, Sams Club, Mission Healthcare, Carson Tahoe Hospital and the Ziv Tzedakah Fund are just some of the dedicated organizations supporting programs in their communities.

A Benefit in Memory of Norine Spadaro. Norine Spadaro will be remembered at a fundraiser in Saratoga Springs this month. Norine a participant of a NY CFR retreat, became a very active volunteer for CFR. To celebrate her life and ensure the future of our NY programs, read more here.
