Director's Message

What a wonderful year! We ended the 2005 season with retreats in 23 states and Canada, plus held or participated in over 50 alumni events, breast cancer symposiums, fly fishing shows and other venues. The CFR volunteers once again shined on to support so many in their community. In 2006, we are celebrating our 10th year in service by launching our 1st Annual Collaborative Conference at the Skytop Lodge in Pennsylvania. Bringing together volunteers, alumni, donors and others. We will learn more about the world of volunteerism, fundraising, medical and psychosocial issues surrounding breast cancer and hear inspirational stories from many. Just as important is the sharing of ideas.

We would like to thank the Orvis Company for continuing to support CFR through their matching grant program. Their outreach to the public has brought great attention to CFR and enabled us to expand our programs. Joining our family of national sponsors is the Hartford Insurance Company. This spring, the Hartford and CFR joined forces to support breast cancer survivors. Thank you Hartford!
