Congratulations are due to the CFR Indiana planning team and to Barbara Simpson, Volunteer Coordinator! The Indiana team is the recipient of the Casting for Recovery 2006 Outstanding Planning Team Award, (more) given to a planning team who has shown an outstanding ability to implement and maintain the CFR program in their area. The team has demonstrated exceptional interest and enthusiasm for the program, displayed excellent implementation of the retreat, has been creative and resourceful in fundraising and community outreach efforts, are proactive in recruiting and training retreat staff/volunteers, and demonstrate excellent alumni communications and services.
Barb is to be congratulated as the recipient of the Gwenn Perkins Outstanding Leadership Award for 2006, awarded in recognition of her efforts in maintaining good communication and an effective working relationship with CFR staff/volunteers, diligence in implementing CFR policies and goals, her ability to inspire enthusiasm in donors and volunteers, her performance of day-to-day responsibilities and her professional representation of CFR, and in being proactive in recruiting and training a volunteer team.
