Three days of fishing, three nights of merriment, and plenty of food were the order of the 1oth Annual PoonTangle held in Big Pine Key, Florida. Forty stalwart tarpon fishers gathered on May 7 & 8 for the fourth year of an event that involved not only plenty of fun and fishing, but fund-raising for the “good work” that Casting for Recovery does. Robert Brown and Jim Johnson, the co-hosts this year, reported that conditions were excellent, and that plans are already afoot for next year’s event.
