Volunteer Lanette Abbey accepts a check from the staff of Susan G. Komen Southeastern Colorado Affiliate on behalf of Casting for Recovery’s Colorado program. The grant is awarded to help support three CFR retreats to be held in CO this year. The Komen Affiliate congratulated CFR on its “hard work and support,” and went on to say, “We are hopeful that our efforts will mean our daughters, grandchildren, sisters, and friends will have no reason to fear a diagnosis of breast cancer. Together we can find a cure!”
