Not only was the 2008 Wareham retreat featured in the January issue of  “On The Water” magazine,  Casting for Recovery Massachusetts volunteers have been active at winter and early spring fly fishing shows making new friends for the program. Shown here is volunteer fly-fishing instructor Katya Bowen, who had a chance to tell the mascot for the Providence Bruins – Samboni – all about the 2009 Casting for Recovery retreat at the New England Saltwater Fishing Show in Providence, RI. Obviously, Samboni liked what he heard!
