Support
Casting for Recovery
Casting for Recovery is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that
relies solely on donations to provide retreats to hundreds of
breast cancer survivors every year.
Donations
Your contribution is tax-deductible as permitted by law, and will
help us expand our capacity to meet the ever-growing demand for
our services. Please consider helping us to continue our work.
If you are donating to a particular retreat,
please indicate on your check or donor form the retreat you wish
to support.
Thank you!
Volunteering
Casting for Recovery relies on the enthusiasm of volunteers to
help plan and staff our retreats. Be a part of our program, and
enrich your life and the lives of others.
Because of their generous support, Casting for Recovery is able
to bring our innovative healing retreat program to help breast
cancer survivors gain new hope, new skills, and new joy in life.

events and as gifts to our alumni. If you are interested in contributing

The
mission of the Chesapeake Women Anglers (CWA) is to be a premier
fly fishing club, serving Chesapeake Bay Watershed, dedicated
to promoting fly fishing for women through education, outings
and environmental awareness. Chesapeake Women Anglers has membership
on the greater Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and South
Central Pennsylvania areas. The club was started ten years
ago by Sarah Gardner and Carol Stevenson, two highly accomplished
women in the sport, and it offers a place where women can learn
the sport and art of fly fishing from basic techniques to advanced
skills. Chesapeake Women Anglers (CWA) has embraced Casting for
Recovery as a cause close to their heart, and May 2007 the sixth
annual CWA/CFR retreat was held at Orkney Springs, Virginia. The
CWA/CFR retreat is made possible each year through the strong
support from members of CWA and generous donations from individuals,
businesses and organizations in the Mid-Atlantic area. To find
out more about CWA and their programs, visit www.chesapeakewomenanglers.org.
